7th and 8th grades are going well this year.  Mrs. Samantha Padellford is our new Science and Math teacher for grades 6, 7, and 8.  Mrs. Laurie Hajny teaches English and Social Studies.  Mr. Jacob Nelson teaches Theology to grades 7 and 8. All 6th, 7th and 8th grade students have iPads which are used for textbooks, homework and keeping track of assignments.

We offer Computer Skills as an elective. We will concentrate on presentation software, but will also be covering other  interesting software. Mrs. Maria Metz teaches computer skills and a variety of software programs.

Band is available through Maple Lake High School.  Choral music is available at St. Timothy's School and is taught by Mrs. Carrie Yerke.  Carrie brings a variety of Catholic and Christian music to the program

Physical Education is taught by Mrs. Cari Senger.  Mrs. Senger teaches skills and rules needed for competative sports.  She is also our health teacher for all grades 6, 7, and 8.  Her Phy. Ed. curriculum emphasizes fitness and health.

As a continuation of our life studies program, Mrs. Tina Triplett (degree in home economics) will be teaching a unit on food safety, nutrition and basic cooking.  This year, as part of our life studies program, we will have a unit on family budgeting by Mrs. Karrie Weber (chief financial officer of several companies), sewing by Mrs. Maria Metz (professional tailor and designer of wedding gowns and formal attire).  We will also have a unit on beadwork design by Mrs. Michelle Fobbe (former floral shop owner).  Other units are possible, however we are limited by time constraints.
